The management principle will place on customer and services as the top priority, AIDC sets diversified services and market orientation as its management strategy to explore the civilian business.

At current stage, AIDC will continue to maintenance and provide total logistic support for IDF in terms of on-schedule, quality and quantity. In the meantime AIDC aggressively obtains the international orders in the production of various type of aircraft, engine as well as avionic equipment parts. The programs include:

  • The co-development program of CL-300 business jet empennage with Bombardier Inc.
  • The co-development program of S-92 helicopter with Sikorsky Aircraft United Technologies Corp.
  • The co-production program of B-737/747 pressurized door with Boeing Company.
  • The co-production program of 601K turbojet engine with Allison Company.
  • The co-production program of ASE120 turbojet engine and AS907 turbofan engine with Honeywell International Inc.
  • The co-development program of CT7 turboshaft engine with General Electric Company.
  • The co-production program of Falcon 900/2000 commercial jet's rudder.
  • The co-production program of Airbus A321/#16A Barrel with Airbus Company.
  • The co-production program of EC-120 helicopter with Singapore Technologies Aerospace.
  • The co-production program of C-27J cargo tail with Alenia Company.

With solid foundation, AIDC built up a mutual reliable relationship with the armed forces in the production and maintenance of military aircraft in the past. Besides AIDC is quite confident to tap into military aircraft market and upgrade its aircraft technology capability in the future.

Viewing the future, AIDC will take full advantage of its facilities and capabilities as the competitive edge. Meanwhile, in line with the privatization and diversified operation, AIDC will expand its business scope into power & energy, auto tronic industry, photoelectric equipment manufacturing & refurbishment, medical care equipment, railway industry and flight services. In addition, AIDC will also actively participate in various international joint venture projects in an attempt to become the production base of civilian aircraft industry worldwide.
