Chairman

Mr. Shih-Kuan Feng is Chairman of the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) which is a government-owned commercial entity under the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Mr. Feng joined the company in May 2, 2006 following a distinguished career in the R.O.C. Air Force. From 1967 to 1982, he served as F-5 Fighter Pilot and Commander of the 46th Aggressor Squadron of the 7th Tactical Fighter Group, the 737th Tactical Fighter Wing. From 1982 to 1985 he was assigned to the Assistant Military Attache in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 1990 to 1993, he was assigned to the Military Attache in the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States.

In 1993, General Feng returned to Taiwan and served as Wing Commander of the 443rd Tactical Fighter Wing. He was later assigned as Director of A2 under the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, General Headquarters, R.O.C. Air Force, in 1997. Then he was assigned as Director of J2 under the Deputy Chief of General Staff for Intelligence under the Ministry of National Defense (MND) in 1998 and was promoted to Lieutenant General. In 2001 he became the Commander of Air Combat Command, R.O.C. Air Force. In 2003, he assumed the post of Vice Commander-In-Chief of the R.O. C. Air Force. After only one year, he was promoted to Vice Chief of General Staff of Air Force, MND as a Full General after which he retired from his distinguished military career in March, 2006.

Mr. Feng graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1967 and continued further studies at Air Command & Staff College of Armed Forces University in 1981 and War College of Armed Forces University in 1987. He married his wife Rosa for 35 years and has one son David and one daughter Julie.

Mr. Feng proudly continues his honorable and distinguished service to Taiwan in his new post as Chairman of the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation and setting the highest standards to assure company success.
