AIDC complies with MIL-STD-973 and ISO 10007 for product configuration identification, engineering release, data management, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audit throughout the life cycle of a product. Fig. 1 indicates the essential role of CM, CM ensures quality delivery while you may not see it.

The configuration management processes used in AIDC have been certified and met the requirements of AS9100/ISO 9001: 2000, especially on the following areas: document and data control, configuration management, design and development, product identification and traceability. Fig. 2 shows an integrity part of CM activities on a web-based platform.
