AIDC to partner with Northrop Grumman for E-2 upgrade opportunities to expand the business.

The Singapore Air show, one of the three major air shows in the world, which is a benchmark exhibition in global aviation industry, grandly took place on February 20th. The AIDC team headed for Singapore to expand business and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Northrop Grumman Corporation on February 23rd for the future collaboration opportunities of upgrade plan for E-2 airborne early warning aircraft, aka Hawkeye.
Witnessed by AIDC Chairman Moudy Hu and Northrop Grumman CEO of Taiwan Fisher Huang, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of Alex Tsai, Vice President of Military Programs & New Business, AIDC and Janice Zilch, Vice President of Northrop Grumman. If the military sale can be completed in the future, it is expected to follow the pattern of “F-16V upgrade program” to conduct upgrade for serving Air Force E-2K in Taiwan.
