AIDC/Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) was awarded a sub-contract by Latecoere of France to build Boeing 787 Dreamliner Composite Parts installed on Passenger Doors including Skin, Frame and Beam. The sub-contract was signed by AIDC President Mr. Butch Hsu and Latecoere Head of Aerostructures Eric Gillard, and its Contract Ceremony held at AIDC Headquarter in Taichung Complex this October with the delegate of Latecoere Purchasing Vice President Mr. Frederic Lecha.
By evaluation of AIDC's capability and capacity investment in composite material manufacturing, Latecoere recognized AIDC as a reliable and high quality supplier.
Mr. Butch Hsu, President of AIDC, commented that the cooperation with Latecoere is a significant achievement of AIDC's persistent pursuit of expanding business relationship with EU countries. He further expressed that with mature capability and experience in manufacturing, engineering development and project management, AIDC is confident of providing the highest quality products and best services for this program and, thus, AIDC will continue to explore feasibility of expanding collaborations to enhance and strengthen the long-term relationship with both Latecoere and the Boeing company in the future.
