We cooperated with Garrett (the predecessor of Honeywell) to establish ITEC (International Turbine Engine Corporation), and jointly developed the TFE1042 turbofan engine (F125 engine) for Taiwan’s IDF, and then derived the F124 series of turbofan engines without afterburner in 1994. The F124 series turbofans have been supplied to Aero Vodochody‘s L-159, Leonardo’s M346, and Taiwan’s Advanced Jet Trainer, and have been utilized by customers in more than 10 countries. The F124 series of engines have been in production since 1997, and are currently available in three models: F124-GA-100, F124-GA-200 and F124-200TW, with a maximum thrust of 6,280 lbs (28KN) and a weight of 1,050 lbs (521.6Kg).
