In order to expand our engine business and solve limitations of insufficient engine capacity, we plan to build the No. 4 and No. 5 Plants. The estimated total investment amount is approximately NT$2.229 billion. It is expected that the plant No. 4 will be completed in the first quarter of 2020 and will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2020.

In addition, in 2016 and 2017, AIDC's has been successful with expanding operation of its “Engine Case No. 3 Plant” which is a large scale manufacturing facility which can meet the growth needs for Rolls-Royce, GE and others. In addition, the "Taiwan Advanced Composite Materials Center, Factory No 19", produces Airbus's best-selling model A320 belly fairing composite components; and houses the "F-16A/B Performance Improvement Maintenance workshop".

Looking forward into the future, Taiwan Aerospace Industry can utilize its advantages provided by Taiwan's policy of support and industrial cooperation. It is expected that AIDC will continue to create growth and profit-making foundation for the sustainable operation of the company through the expansion into the global civil aircraft market and the development of domestic military aircraft business."
