AIDC was rewarded Canada Bombardier Diamond Supplier for two consecutive years

During the tough period of COVID-19, Taiwan aviation leader Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) was recently awarded 2020 Bombardier Diamond Supplier status from Canadian business jet manufacturer Bombardier. It is AIDC’s second consecutive year being awarded the Diamond Supplier recognition since 2019. AIDC was invited to participate in the 2020 Diamond Supplier Virtual Awards Ceremony organized by Bombardier on July 12. AIDC chairman, Kai-Hung “Moudy” Hu, led the commercial, senior vice president, Gary Lo, and the relevant executives to receive the award.

Although the commercial aircraft business was impacted in 2020, AIDC chairman Kai-Hung “Moudy” Hu still led AIDC passing through the challenge. AIDC will not become complacent about the current situation, and will keep providing excellent products to our clients. Through the strict selection criteria for Bombardier's Diamond Suppliers, AIDC was first awarded the certification in 2019. Bombardier’s recognition over two consecutive years demonstrates AIDC's excellent performance, quality and technique.

AIDC has been involved in the development and manufacturing of the rear fuselage section of the Challenger 350 aircraft, and has been a supplier of Bombardier for more than 20 years. AIDC supplies the rear fuselage, vertical tail, horizontal tail, rudder, elevator and other main structural components of the Bombardier Challenger 350 business jet.

Bombardier is a multinational aerospace group that is a leader in the business jet market. Bombardier’s Diamond Supplier program promotes the establishment of a high-performing global supply chain to exceed customers’ expectations.
