AIDC held an earning results conference in Taipei International Convention Center on April 23rd and the Chairman Moudy Hu lead the management team to report the business performance of 2023 as well as the prospect for National Defense, Commercial Aircraft and Technology Services of this year to the investors.
Taking a glance of AIDC’s revenue over the years, the curved trend line keeps going up like an eagle spreading its wings. According to the latest revenue, the 2024 business performance is stable. The revenue of March is NTD 4.317 billion which is highest record for single month since AIDC was listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange and also makes a 6.24% growth year over year. And the accumulated revenue in first quarter is NTD 10.576 billion which is increasing 6.39% year over year. The remarkable performance of exceeding 10 billion in single quarter for the first time has established the solid foundation for this year.
Reviewing year of 2023, the business performance of AIDC was great. The annual revenue was NTD 39.1 billion and NTD 2.36 for Earning Per Share, which were respectively an increase of 29% and 36% year over year and were also the highest record. “Brave Eagle” the advanced jet trainer and F-16V fighter were the two major program in National Defense. The former is continuing the delivery stably while the later one has been upgraded as scheduled. The Commercial Aircraft business is now strongly recovering after pandemic. AIDC hunkered down while Covid-19 and then jump up obtaining international orders successively. The amount in contract is turning into revenue year by year. In Technology Services, AIDC built Tongxiao power plant for Taipower as well as Yongan plant and Wuqi plant for CPC. AIDC also has three self-built energy storage facilities under operation.
Looking ahead to 2024, AIDC is heading to sustainable development, and three major businesses of National Defense, Commercial aircraft and Technology Services are all increasing stably, which is also an expected prospect of this year.
