AIDC was invited by President Securities Corporation to hold on-line earning results conference on June 19th, Vice President Serena Huang lead the Financial and Corporate Development Department to report AIDC’s first quarter performances of 2024 as well as this year’s vision of National Defense, Commercial Aircraft and Technology Services.
In the first quarter of 2024, AIDC’s revenue exceeded 10 billion in single quarter in the first time with earnings per share of 0.85, the revenue was also increasing than last year. As of May, AIDC’s revenue has reached up to 16.2 billion, National Defense accounts for more than 50% of the revenue, while Commercial aircraft is up to 40% which is elevating than 36% of Year 2023 as well as 38% Year 2022. The increasing of the Commercial aircraft resulted from the recovery of international travel that strongly drove the demand of commercial aircrafts. AIDC stably have Commercial Aircraft orders in hand, and also gain nearly 10 billion new orders from this January to April. We are now focusing on profitable products and thermal plastic technologies to strive for market of next generation commercial aircrafts.
“The Brave eagle” AJT has reached the peak of mass production, so the ministry of National Defense included in a 5-years logistics and maintenance contract of Brave Eagle which total amount exceeds 16.2 billion in this year’s budget. AIDC was awarded fleet maintenance entrustment contract from the ministry of National Defense which will be executed from this July and with its total amount 4 billion. Domestic manufacturing of fighters brings the one-stop business of design, production and logistics. With the delivery numbers of total 66 shipsets of Brave Eagle fleet is approaching to half, the maintenance works is getting more and more important. Not only is the framework gradually improving, but also brings considerable revenue to AIDC.
