AIDC, a key player in the aviation industry, has been recognized as one of Bombardier's Diamond Supplier winners for 2023, marking the fourth time the company has received the award. This recognition underscores AIDC’s continued excellence in performance as acknowledged by Bombardier.
The Diamond Supplier award ceremony was held on September 16, 2024, in Montreal, Canada. AIDC’s Director, Charlie Chang, and his team were present at the event.
Bombardier has been awarding its suppliers for their exceptional operational performance for many years. This year, AIDC stood out for its exceptional product performance and overall competitiveness. This achievement makes AIDC one of only two aircraft structure manufacturing suppliers to receive the Diamond Supplier award this year, demonstrating the company’s outstanding manufacturing capabilities and competitive edge.
AIDC has been collaborating with Bombardier for over 20 years, contributing to the development and manufacturing of the rear fuselage of the Bombardier Challenger 3500 business jet, and other structural components such as the vertical tail, horizontal tail, elevators and rudders.
Bombardier’s Diamond Supplier certification not only acknowledges suppliers’ exceptional performance, but also is a testament to the long-term collaboration between the two companies.
